URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL TRUCKLINE MANAGERS AND DISPATCHERS:
In a joint effort to better service our customers New Orleans Terminal, LLC and Ports America are requesting all dispatchers to review the RFID tags in BOTH the New Orleans Terminal RFID Tag Management System, and the Ports America System. We are noticing that many trucks are not populating correctly which means that the RFID Tag isn’t properly set up, isn’t on the windshield of the truck in the proper location, just not in the truck, or the tag no longer works. We are also noticing that the UTN’s are not legibly stenciled in 3 locations on the trucks. We ask that each truck have only one UTN per truck. To avoid confusion, and a possible miss delivery we are asking everyone to be sure that all trucks are properly stenciled. Any trucks that do not populate correctly or not stenciled properly, both Terminal Operators reserve the right to not service these trucks until these issues are corrected.

PLEASE ADVISE ALL DRIVERS OF THE TERMINALS OUTBOUND BOBTAIL LANE RULES.
ALL TRUCKS MUST COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AT THE "STOP" SIGN IN THIS LANE. AFTER STOPPING, TRUCK CAN PROCEED "SLOWLY" THROUGH THE BOBTAIL LANE TO EXIT.
"NO CONTAINERS" ALLOWED TO EXIT THROUGH THE BOBTAIL LANE.
"NO POOL CHASSIS" ALLOWED TO EXIT WITH DRIVER THROUGH THE BOBTAIL LANE.
"NO SPIN OUTS" ALLOWED TO EXIT THROUGH THIS LANE.
THE "ONLY" ALLOWED TRUCKS ARE BOBTAIL TRUCKS AND OR TRUCKS WITH "OWN" WHEELS.
THIS LANE IS BEING MONITORED". DRIVERS NOT FOLLOWING THESE POSTED RULES AT THE OUTBOUND BOBTAIL LANE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SET FOR SUSPENSION AT BOTH TERMINALS FOR NOT FOLLOWING TERMINAL RULES. PLEASE SEE THAT ALL DRIVERS ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE CONSEQUENCES IF SEEN NOT STOPPING AT THE STOP SIGN OR SYSTEM LOGS SHOWING DRIVER EXITING WITH CONTAINERS, POOL CHASSIS, OR SPIN OUTS.
THERE IS A PHYSICAL SIGN POSTED AT THE "STOP SIGN" WITH THESE LANE RULES CLEARLY STATED.
