PORTS AMERICA NEW ORLEANS WILL BE "OPEN" ON GOOD FRIDAY 4/7/23 NORMAL HOURS OF OPERATION.

ALL CUSTOMERS WILL BE REQUIRED EFFECTIVE 10/17/22 TO PAY ALL IMPORT STORAGE CHARGES FOR “HAPAG LLOYD IMPORT BILL OF LADINGS ONLY” DIRECT TO PORTS AMERICA NOLA TERMNAL VIA ACCOUNT ACCESS TO “NOLA TOS PORTAL”.
HAPAG LLOYD WILL STILL CONTINUE CHARGING AND COLLECTING “DEMURRAGE” FROM CUSTOMER. ANY INQUIRY FOR “DEMURRAGE” AND THEIR “LFD” MUST BE DIRECTED TO HAPAG LLOYD IMPORT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PAYMENT TO PORTS AMERICA (IMPORT STORAGE):
ACCOUNT ACCESS REQUIRED TO NOLA TOS WEB PORTAL
PAYMENTS ARE MADE UNDER IMPORT REPORTS PAGE ON (TOS WEB PORTAL) TWP
PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY INQUIRY ON BILL OF LADING ONLY!!
ALL CONTAINERS ASSOCIATED TO BILL OF LADING THAT ARE STILL REMAINING IN YARD AFTER EXPIRATION OF IMPORT STORAGE FREE TIME MUST BE PAID BEFORE TERMINAL WILL RELEASE ANY OF THE CONTAINERS ON THE BILL OF LADING STILL IN YARD. APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE MADE FOR (IMPORT OUT MOVE) IF ANY CONTAINERS ON THE BILL OF LADING ARE DUE STORAGE CHARGES.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT OF CHARGES FOR AN INDIVIDUAL CONTAINER SHOULD THERE BE MULTIPLE CONTAINERS ON THE RESPECTIVE BILL OF LADING.
STORAGE CHARGES CAN BE PAID FOR MULTIPLE DAYS (PAID THRU DATE) IF TRUCK LINES NEED ADDITIONAL DAYS TO PULL ALL THE UNITS WITHIN THE TIME FRAME OF PAID THRU DATE. IF UNITS NOT PULLED BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON PAID THRU DATE, THEY WOULD AUTOMATICALLY GO BACK ON “IMPORT STORAGE” HOLD.
PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE ONLY AT THIS TIME BY CREDIT CARD. PAYMENTS VIA E-CHECK NOT YET AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
IMPORT STORAGE FREE TIME: 5 (calendar days).

Please be advised EFFECTIVE MONDAY, OCT. 3 any trucks arriving with their appointments being set incorrectly with the information set up with incorrect or incomplete container numbers or chassis numbers, as well as, chassis numbers not being correct whether they are POOL chassis or OWN chassis the drivers will no longer be able to sit in the Pedestal lane to contact their dispatcher to correct their appointments. Drivers will be advised to EXIT terminal and return to the Circle Holding area until such appointments are corrected.
Please see that everyone adheres and addresses these issues prior to Monday, Oct. 3rd as drivers will be spun out due to incorrect information not matching on appointments made or if appointments are not properly made by type moves drivers are making whether coming in as time slot appointment or if Candidate appointment made.
